The 28th Annual Chugwater Chili Cook-Off is Wyoming's spiciest hometown event!

This year's event will be held at the Chugwater Town Park and will feature a competitive chili cooking contest. There are several divisions of competition and attendees will get a spicy kick out of watching cooks compete in the Showmanship Division. Attendees are encouraged to participate to their fullest extent by placing a vote for the People's Choice Award.

You can grab yourself a nice commemorative beer mug to aid during your tasting. Commerative T-shirts and other items will also be available for purchase on the day of the cook-off.

Kids are encouraged to take part in kids games and crafts. The park offers a new playground with slides, swings, merry-go round and more.

The Chugwater Chili Cook-off was started by the Chugwater Chili Corporation in 1985 and it has historically been organized by an all-volunteer group. Proceeds go to local non-profit groups including the Chugwater Fire and Ambulance, Chugwater Historical Unity Group, Chugwater Housing and Economic Development and the Chugwater Community Center.

Keep in mind for future reference that the Chugwater Chili Cook-Off always occurs on the third Saturday of June (the Saturday before Father's Day). What a great tradition to kick off Father's Day weekend every year!
